- Elzbieta Biernacki illustrated books such as Jerzy Ficowski’s A Reading of Ashes, poems about the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
- She invented a new method of transferring paintings from one medium to another
- Elzbieta’s work as art conservator led to the preservation of artworks from the Italian and Dutch masters of the Renaissance to contemporary painters like Wlodzimierz Pawlak and Jacek Sempolinski
